Ευρωζώνη: Συνεχίστηκε η ανάπτυξη της μεταποίησης, τον Σεπτέμβριο

Ο μεταποιητικός τομέας της Ευρωζώνης αναπτύχθηκε τον Σεπτέμβριο, για τρίτο συνεχόμενο μήνα, ενώ η ισχυρότερη ζήτηση επέτρεψε στις επιχειρήσεις να αυξήσουν τις τιμές τους για πρώτη φορά από τα μέσα του 2012, σύμφωνα με τα αποτελέσματα έρευνας της εταιρείας Markit.

CAN YOU CREATE THE GREEN STORE FOR THE FUTURE?

The goal of this Challenge is for the selected Fellows to create a Green Store prototype.
This Green Store prototype must be sustainable in terms of materials, construction, energy, operation and other aspects and will be realized in Germany. The prototype should be scalable to H&M stores worldwide, be economically beneficial and make the idea of sustainability tangible for customers and employees.

The blood-brain barrier (BBB) prevents movement of hydrophilic (water-loving) molecules from the bloodstream into the central nervous system (CNS). An EU project, JUSTBRAIN, is investigating how to manipulate this obstacle to facilitate the passage of therapeutic drugs for neurological disorders.

Genetics and epigenetics of liver cancer

Effective cancer therapy requires comprehension of the complex genetic and epigenetic alterations involved in cancer, starting from the pre-cancerous stage to overt cancer. An EU-funded project is working to elucidate factors involved in cancer formation and spread by studying hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), also known as liver cancer.
