Optimising pharmaceutical protein production in plants

The EU-funded COMOFARM project was set up to investigate procedures for the optimal expression, recovery and processing of pharmaceutical proteins in plants. The entire production process from plant selection to protein yield would be optimised for industrial-scale production of proteins in compliance with regulatory standards.
