The main objective of this workshop is to develop the ‘Entrepreneurial Skills’ of young researchers and to prepare them for their future careers.
This Training Workshop is organised in the framework of C-CASCADES - Carbon Cascades from Land to Ocean in the Anthropocene - a European Union Horizon 2020 Marie Curie-funded project.
Its main objective is to develop the ‘Entrepreneurial Skills’ of young researchers and to prepare them for their future careers. This workshop is organised by DELTARES, an independent institute for applied research in the field of water and subsurface, with a main focus on deltas, coastal regions and river basins.
Throughout this 3-day event, the young researchers will:
- Have a taste of the different career opportunities accessible for them
- Learn how to develop entrepreneurial skills and realise their ideas
- Reflect about their personal skills and capabilities
- Develop their communication skills (media training, pitching …)
This workshop is a great opportunity for young researchers to open-up new career perspectives and to develop transferable skills.
This event is open for Masters, PhD students and postdocs and is free of charge (accommodation & dinners not included).
