European Union Women Innovators Prize 2014

The Prize for Women Innovators aims to increase public attention to Europe's need of more innovators and it encourages well educate women researchers to exploit the commercial and business opportunities offered by their research projects, become entrepreneurs and therefore help to achieve the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy.

The European Commission will award up to three 'Prizes for Women Innovators.The prizes will not reward research or innovation proposed for the future, but results that have been already obtained. The prizes will be awarded to individuals who have brought about outstanding

Three prizes will be awarded:

First prize: EUR 100.000
Second prize: EUR 50.000
Third prize: EUR 25.000
The three winners will be announced in spring 2014.

The deadline for applications: 15 October 2013 at 5.00 pm (CET).
