World You Like Challenge Contest

The European Commission has launched the World You Like Challenge Contest calling on individuals, entrepreneurs, businesses, and public and private organisations alike to submit inspiring ideas to tackle climate change.

The aim of the contest is to reward existing pioneering low-carbon initiatives across the European Union, which make a real contribution to tackling climate change and can improve the quality of life, for example through lower energy bills, more comfortable homes, cleaner air, better public transport and less traffic congestion.

Projects should be original and innovative with a concrete and tangible output, as well as illustrating good practice and providing a role model to motivate people and organisations to adopt a low-carbon lifestyle.

Projects can be submitted in five categories:
- Building & living
- Shopping & eating
- Re-use & recycling
- Travel & transport
- Innovative production

Elegibility
Participants have to be 18 years old or over and live in one of the 27 EU Member States.
They are invited to submit entries preferably in English, but all official EU languages will be accepted.
Each participant may enter only one submission.
