The European Youth Award (EYA) selects and promotes best European innovative students and young entrepreneurs who creatively use Internet and mobiles to create outstanding digital contents and work together to tackle some of the most urgent challenges we are facing today.
Innovative students and young people under 30 (born after January 1, 1983), from the European Union, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Montenegro, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine can enter their projects on the six categories:
1. Fight Poverty, Hunger and Disease
2. Education for All
3. Power 2 Women
4. Create your Culture
5. Go Green
6. Pursue the Truth
The submitted product or application must be completed after 1 January 2012 (for a project or product completed earlier the submitters have to document that significant alterations and/or improvements and/or additions have been made in the period thereafter).
In case of multiple submissions from one and the same submitters, each product, project or application requires a separate registration and release form.
In each of the categories there will be three winners and three runners-up.
The 2013 European Youth Award Nominees will be invited to the EYA Winners' Event.
EYA is a partner Award of the World Summit Youth Award (WSYA), so it means that entrants projects could be nominated twice: for EYA and for WSYA too.
