The South-West University "Neofit Rilski" - Blagoevgrad is looking for a partner within the following project: Interreg V-A Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020

Priority Axis 4:
A socially inclusive cross-border area.
Thematic Objective 9:
Promoting social inclusion, combating poverty and any discrimination.
Investment priority 9a: Investing in health and social infrastructure which contribute to national, regional and local development, reducing inequalities in terms of health status, promoting social inclusion through improved access to social, cultural and recreational services and the transition from institutional to community-based services.

The project aims at:
Specific Objective: 8.To improve access to primary and emergency health care (at isolated and deprived communities) in the CB area

Activities: The activities shall include terrain work, research work and analysis of research done up to now. Terrain work should be carried out regarding the not popular mineral springs. The chemical composition, the indicationas and contra-indications as well as accessibility will be thoroughly researched and described. There will be pointed out as well as worked out the therapeutic and prophylactic complexes for respective illnesses on the basis of the optimal available climate and balneo resources.

As there is not such kind of system developed regarding the qualities, composition, indications and contra-indications related to the mineral waters in different regions, such system shall be developed in order different illnesses to be treated more efficiently and appropriately. Thus these waters will be optimally used.

There shall be collected and developed information regarding the indications and contra-indications, therapeutic and prophylactic complexes. An information system will be projected where the information characteristics shall be systematized, processed, translated into three languages and made accessible. Web-based information system will be developed with the possibility of creteria search and mobile aplication. Then this system along with the therapeutic and prophylactic complexes will be practically tested in a real environment. Inquiries shall be made and consulting activities shall be conducted. Some training courses shall be carried out. Other main tasks of the project are its well-structured management and well-planned publicity.
