“Personalization and Social Entrepreneurship” Summer School

The Department of Economics of the University of Bologna (Forlì Campus) in collaboration with AICCON, is pleased to announce the fourth edition of the European Summer School on Social Economy (ESSE), which will be held at the University Residential Centre of Bertinoro, Forlì Campus, University of Bologna. This fourth edition is organised in partnership with the Department of Architecture of the University of Bologna, EMES Network, EURICSE and SECS IRT (University of Bologna). The ESSE aims at giving a multidisciplinary scientific knowledge new trends and analytical tools for social enterprise researchers and practitioners in order to cope with this changing welfare landscape. The Summer school will be on topic “Personalization and Social Entrepreneurship” from 6th July- 11th July 2015 .
ESSE intends to address the following topics: social innovation from the social economic perspective, social entrepreneurship and innovation, social innovation management, financial tools for social investments, and social innovation within the social enterprise framework.
Eligibility
The Summer School is aimed for students currently engaged in graduate studies as well as PhD students and researchers. Practitioners wishing to deepen their knowledge form a theoretical point of view are also welcome. The target number of participants is 30.
Costs and Scholarships
There will be available 2 types of scholarship: full scholarship and partial scholarship. The first one will cover entirely the admission fee, inclusive of participation to the program, full board and accommodation in a double room, welcome cocktail. Then, it will not cover travel expenditures. On the other hand, the partial scholarship will cover only half of the admission fee (€ 325). Students who wish to apply for scholarship will be evaluated by the Scientific Board based on the academic merit and quality of their research project.
