Oak Foundation is seeking to commission an organisation with significant international field experience and a track record and competence in facilitating learning to lead the next phase of the Bamboo Project on Child Resilience.
The Bamboo Project is a multi-country action-learning initiative that aims to stimulate and support new thinking and new approaches to policy and practice, which responds not only to the needs of the children and families, but builds on their own experience and knowledge.
Applicants must possess:
An appreciation of resilience-informed, assets- or strengths-based approaches;
Experience of working in difficult and diverse settings;
Qualitative research with children and communities;
Partnership working for example with service providers, communities, academics.
Commitment to learning;
Credibility and convening power with other organizations.
