The Tiet Foundation is a private foundation in the State of Georgia (USA) that aims to support organizations that maximize impact and create change. Through their grant program they support organizations worldwide in addressing issues in human rights that address challenges in a high-impact and low-cost way.
The areas of human rights they fund include, but not limited to:
Social/economic inequalities
Marginalized populations (women, older adults, people with disabilities, LGBTQI, indigenous/native people, refugees/internally displaced persons, etc.)
The grant program is open to any public charity (U.S. based or non-U.S. based). Funds may be used for general organization support or for a project.
The maximum grant size is $5,000. The grant will be split into two installments that will be released based on an agreed timeline with the grantee and the Tiet Foundation.
The deadline to apply is 31 March 2015.
