Every year since 2006, a partnering (brokerage) event has taken place at the Mobile World Congress, organised by ACCIÓ -a department of the Catalan Government's Ministry of Enterprise and Labour- together with a core group of partners from the Enterprise Europe Network with the aim of helping European start-ups, SMEs and Research groups from the mobile technology sector in initiating transnational partnerships. As in 2013, this year the venue will take place 24-26th February at Fira Gran Via.
In 2013, over 500 companies from 29 countries submitted almost 1000 technology profiles they were offering or seeking. Over the 3 days of the brokerage event, almost 1,600 meetings took place.
This B2B Matchmaking Partnering event brings together innovative organisations from several countries around the globe seeking to collaborate to mutual commercial benefit. Activity will focus on one-to-one 30-minute pre-scheduled meetings.
The purpose of the brokerage event is to enhance opportunities for companies to explore and find partners from the mobile technology sector.
