An event entitled 'Stimulating Innovation in Plant Genetic Resources' will be held on 23 April 2013 in Brussels, Belgium.

The European Innovation Partnership (EIP) for Agricultural Productivity and Sustainability is one of the main initiatives of the European Commission to support research and innovation in agriculture. The EIP is designed as a network facility for improving technological transfer from laboratory to farm and the feedback loop from the farm-level back into research programming. In practice, the EIP will strengthen the links between research funded under Horizon 2020 and more operational projects funded under Rural Development Programmes.

The second edition of the largest European event in nanoscience and nanotechnology, 'ImagineNano', will be held from 23 to 26 April 2013 in Bilbao, Spain.

The main focus of the conferences will be on Nanoscience & Nanotechnology in the fields of Graphene, Energy, Bio/Medicine, Optics, Photonics and Security & Defense. The latest trends and discoveries from some of the world's leading players in the field will be discussed. The Sixth Atmospheric Science Symposium (ATMOS 2013) will be held from 24 to 26 April 2013 in Istanbul, Turkey.

Atmospheric phenomena, which constitute the main research subjects of atmospheric sciences, are influential in nearly every aspects of human life. Atmospheric science is an umbrella term for the study of the atmosphere, its processes and the effects other systems have on the atmosphere. Current hot topics in this field regard the understanding of global change, including the greenhouse effect, interaction of climate change and ecosystems, and its effects on human health.

This conference will bring together various researchers to discuss new development and take a look at previous studies done in this field.
