Fibrinogen and brain regeneration

Blood protein fibrinogen changes the microenvironment in the central nervous system (CNS) after traumatic brain injury or brain disease. A European study is investigating the role of fibrinogen as a new factor that affects brain regeneration.

Keeping air flow over aircraft under control

Novel therapeutic targets for asthma

Asthma is a significant source of morbidity worldwide and most often emerges during early childhood. A European study aimed to investigate the immune mechanisms driving asthma development by recapitulating the human asthmatic immune system in mouse models.
