The Suleyman Kerimov Foundation Grants

The Suleyman Kerimov Foundation was established in 2007 and focuses on philanthropic efforts on helping the disadvantaged, particularly youth, by collaborating with partners and other organizations. Since then the foundation has supported organizations and projects in the areas of medicine, sports, religion, infrastructure and social services.

Nexus Grants for Innovative Eco-friendly Projects

Grants for Innovation (“G4I”) encourages innovation to scale up low-carbon technologies that contribute toward the Millennium Development Goals, including innovations which enable such projects to overcome financial, social and legal barriers. Innovations are expected to:

have strong potential for social impact, in particular poor populations
have strong potential for climate change mitigation
be feasible for scale-up, or replication in other areas or countries
be built on a robust business model

UNESCO Calls for Youth Driven Action Projects

UNESCO launches a call for projects in order to identify and support 15 action projects (3 by region: Africa; Arab States; Asia and the Pacific; Europe and North America; and Latin America and the Caribbean) which will be “certified” with the label “8th UNESCO Youth Forum” and implemented by, with and for young women and men between October 2013-October 2015. The theme of this 8th edition will be “Youth and Social Inclusion: Civic Engagement, Dialogue and Skills Development”.

The objective of the Fund is to contribute to the development of a common European integrated border management system. It was established as a part of financial solidarity mechanisms to support Member States that endure, for the benefit of the European
Union, a lasting financial burden arising from the implementation of common standards on control and surveillance of external borders and visa policy.
