Call for proposals: MARE/2015/06 Development of innovative, low-impact offshore fishing practices for small-scale vessels in outermost regions

The pilot project aims at providing a platform for exchange of knowledge on low-impact
offshore fishing techniques among fishermen from the outermost regions with a view to
developing and optimising these techniques and with the principal objective of
alleviating fishing pressure on the coastal fish resources.
Specific objectives
 Raising awareness of the opportunities to develop innovative fishing techniques
allowing to divert fishing effort away from the coastal resources

Δυνατότητα υποβολής προτάσεων έχουν οι κυπριακοί φορείς, στο πλαίσιο της επόμενης καταληκτικής ημερομηνίας υποβολής Προτάσεων του Προγράμματος «EUROSTARS 2», η οποία έχει καθοριστεί για τις 17 Σεπτεμβρίου 2015.

Adequate, well integrated and reliable energy networks are a prerequisite for an integrated and competitive internal energy market. The aim of the Connecting Europe Facility1 is to accelerate investment in the field of trans-European networks and to leverage funding from public and private sectors. While the bulk of the investment needed in the energy sector should be delivered by the market and its costs recovered through tariffs, EU financing may be needed for specific projects with wider regional and European benefits which are unable to attract market-based financing

The activities financed under this call for proposals shall enable new or existing rehabilitation centres established in the European Union to offer victims of torture whether EU citizens and /or migrants present in the Union as full rehabilitation as possible thus empowering torture victims to rebuild their life and dignity and to find their
role in the society.
