This course aims at analysing in detail Horizon 2020 management and reporting rules taking into account the problematic issues faced in practice by universities, research centres and enterprises in the daily management of H2020 projects including IPR and contractual aspects, financial provisions, reporting rules and principles.
The training course will cover the following topics:
o Introduction to Horizon 2020 and to its funding instruments
o Grant Agreement contents
o Financial rules: reporting principles, direct costs (personnel, consumables, equipment, travel and subsistence costs, subcontracts, other direct costs), taking into account the interpretation recently given by the European Commission’s Legal Affairs on the ineligibility of some work contract typologies as personnel costs in H2020
o Indirect costs
o Ineligible costs
o The participation of Third Parties in project activities
o Reporting obligations and payment modalities
o Intellectual property and the new discipline on Open Access
o Cost certification requirements: procedures and required supporting documents
o Controls and sanctions.
