Το Ελληνο-Ιταλικό Επιμελητήριο της Αθήνας σε συνεργασία με τον ιταλικό οργανισμό Fiera di Roma διοργανώνουν επιχειρηματική αποστολή στην διεθνή έκθεση BEIJING YANQING INTERNATIONAL WINE EXPOSITION 2014 που διεξάγεται στο Πεκίνο από 29 έως 31 Ιουλίου 2014.

Τα μέλη στήριξης του Επιμελητηρίου έχουν την δυνατότητα να επωφεληθούν μοναδικής προσφοράς προκειμένου να συμμετέχουν ως εκθέτες στην πιο σημαντική έκθεση κρασιού που διεξάγεται στην κινεζική πρωτεύουσα.

Advancements in the nanotechnology industry promise to offer improvements in capabilities across a wide spectrum of applications including fields medicine, textiles, cosmetics, agriculture, optics, food packaging, optoelectronic devices, semiconductor devices, aerospace, automotive, construction and catalysis.

In this context, NANOSTRUC 2014 brings together an international community of experts to discuss the state-of-the-art and perspectives of future developments for new research results, as well as innovative applications relevant to structural materials, engineering structures, nanocomposites, modelling and simulations, and their related application areas. It will be providing a forum for exchange of ideas, presentation of technical achievements and discussion of future directions.

15-16/05/2014 - Fifth International Conference on Advances in Tourism Economics (Portugal)

This edition of the biennial conference series will look to showcase the impact of academic research on tourism economics by addressing broad thematic ideas among academics, practitioners, students, teachers, policy-makers, private investors and the broader community. With papers for submission of both a theoretical and empirical nature being welcomed, the event aims to provide a better understanding of the tourism market worldwide.

Taking place over three days, it is being jointly organised between the Portuguese Association for Tourism Research and Development (APIDT) and the Tourism Research Centre of Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa. Registration for the event is open until 25 March 2014 and will cost up to 250.

Algae event 2014 is a parallel event jointly organised by EU BC&E 2014, EnAlgae project and RE-CORD.
The Executive Committee selected this event to be included in the official programme of the 22nd EU BC&E that will take place at the CCH - Congress Center Hamburg, Germany in June 2014.

Both macro- and microalgae are increasingly being considered as a useful source of biomass for a number of industrial purposes. The aim of this one day event will be to get a better understanding on how algae fit into the current biomass industry and how they could contribute to a sustainable bioeconomy in the future. Therefore technological but also legislative bottlenecks should be addressed.
