The Cartier Women's Initiative Awards are an international business plan competition created in 2006 to identify, support and encourage projects by women entrepreneurs.

The Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards aim to encourage inspirational women entrepreneurs worldwide to solve contemporary global challenges by:
• supporting and recognizing creative women who are making concrete contributions to finding solutions for the future of our planet
• bringing these business solutions to the largest audience possible.

Since their inception in 2006, they have accompanied 162 promising female business-owners and recognized 58 Laureates.

Application Process

In this section, you will find everything you need to know about the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards’ application process and selection process. Women entrepreneurs in the initial stages of development, in any country, of any nationality and operating in any industry are welcome to submit their application.

The call for applications for the 2018 edition of the Cartier Women's Initiative Awards is now open and will close on August 31, 2017 at 2:00PM (CET).
