The event will be a great opportunity for marine product-related services to adapt to changes through science and innovation. The WEFTA 2014 event will address key issues such as integrity, authenticity and differentiation of products; health benefits, safety and quality of fish and fish-products; the sustainable use of catches and farming; innovation in the development and processing of fish and aquaculture products, among other topics.
The end consumer will be the protagonist of the sessions. The experts will debate and present solutions to satisfy the consumers' new expectations. In this sense, they will assess how to integrate worldwide seafood in European cuisine.
As an innovation, this year's programme will include a special session focusing on the industry, including sections devoted to the market and technology, and different scientific presentations in an attractive format.
