The European Young Innovators Forum (EYIF), in cooperation with Huawei, has launched a new competition for young entrepreneurs.
The competition is inviting young students and professionals from 18 years old to 36 years of age, from Europe to create an App relevant for SmartCities.
Applicants will have to fill a questionnaire (or record a 2 minute video), by answering the following questions:
- Do you have a relevant idea for SmartCities?
- How is this idea linked to the SmartCities (or SafeCities and/or Internet of Things)?
- What is the impact/value of your idea?
- Tell us more about your personal and professional background.
All entry materials must be in English.
Applications can be submitted several times until the deadline: 25 October 2016, 23h30 CET.
The short-listed candidates will be invited to all-expenses paid two-day hackathon in Brussels, Belgium.
Six finalists and six runner-up finalists will be selected and the six finalists will be invited to pitch at the InnoApps Finals Event in Brussels.
This InnoApps edition will feature two prizes:
- Winner: 20.000 EUR
- Runners-Up: 15.000 EUR.
